Our relationship to sound, or relative silence, has a profound effect on our communication and learning. Clients and their families make any number of choices about if or when to amplify sound, whether to maintain that access to sound, and how to relate to the person with hearing loss. Hearing preservation is also an important role that we play. For many, access to services is increased and enhanced by the use of teletherapy. Educate yourself so you can advocate for others.
